Origin search program

The search for origins refers to the set of actions that a person undertakes when he/she is or has the sense of being adopted, to make contact with their biological past. This can be either to get general information about their gestation and the circumstances that led to their adoption process and/or to find and meet their parents and relatives.

Those who request this information must be over 18 years of age. If under this age, their adoptive parents can do it on their behalf.

Application

To start your application, select "Start procedure" button of this section, which will allow you to enter the application form of the Integrated Adoption Information System (SIIA).

After filling in the form and pressing the finish button, the message "your application has been registered" will appear.

In turn, the system will send you a welcome email, indicating file number and password. Such key will allow you to continuously track the status of your application at the link adopcion.sis.mejorninez.cl, where you must select the option "Solicitante BUO", (BUO Applicant), and set your username and password informed at the time of registration.

Important: Before finishing, check if the email indicated by you on the form is properly written, or otherwise you will not receive the email that provides your username and password.

Do not forget to record all the fields indicated as mandatory(*), for it depends on them whether or not your request has been processed.

Once your application has been activated on the system, a Service professional will contact you to guide you in your search process.
